As a website writer, you will be responsible for driving a consistent and concise user experience on our front-end website and communications with clients.

Key to this role is the ability to write and write a brief, ask the right questions, and independently produce a relevant, refined and appropriate copy for our audience. You are recognized for your excellent stakeholder and organizational management skills, nurturing effective working relationships while working well under pressure with competing priorities. And you are not afraid to find solutions and ask questions to fill in the blanks!

You will champion our tone of voice and language guidelines through marketing channels, know how to write compelling copy that converts, be an SEO expert, and understand the big picture when it comes to pairing a copy of quality in design.

Tasks will include creating copy for our website, landing pages, and customer communications. You’ll also create a copy that will be A / B tested for our CRO program, Help Center, digital campaign pages, and product pages.

About the role:

As Mable’s continues to grow and evolve, so do our communications and marketing requirements to meet our ambitious growth goals. This role will be important in taking our consumer website and other content channels to the next level. This role will take place within the marketing team and work closely with other areas of the business.

The words you write will help them better understand what we do and what the benefits are to change and impact more lives across Australia. In doing so, you will also have an impact on our KPIs and growth targets.

Who you will be working with:

Reporting to our Content and Engagement Marketing Manager, you will work closely with all areas of our marketing teams to create digital copy across a number of channels (primarily our front-end website). You will also work closely with UX designers, visual designers, and product teams to create an effective copy that meets the customer’s needs throughout their respective customer journeys.


  • Provide accurate, clear and concise copy that: responds to brief, adheres to our brand guidelines on tone of voice, improves chances of conversion / acquisition online, and maximizes SEO opportunities

  • Research and distill complex topics and explain them clearly in a copy intended for the client

  • Produce and deliver content on time

  • Use relevant tools to improve content effectiveness

  • Stay on top of industry news and digital trends to influence copy

Knowledge and experience:

  • 3-4 years of experience in a similar role dedicated to in-house digital writing, producing copies for web pages, landing pages and other conversion oriented formats

  • Elderly care and disability support industry or healthcare experience is encouraged

  • Strong writing skills to define, create and edit in accordance with organizational goals

  • Experience with WordPress and other content management systems

  • Demonstrated ability to create web content considering CRO and SEO best practices

  • Demonstrated ability to create a UX copy for an online shopping journey

  • Demonstrated ability to sub-edit, verify and control content

  • Demonstrated ability to derive actionable insights from digital data

  • Bachelor’s degree in communication or similar
