Nicorette and NicoDerm Introduce Master Brand Identity and Launch Updated Customer Website to Better Support Smokers on Their Quit Journey

For more than a quarter of a century, Nicorette and NicoDerm have helped millions of smokers successfully quit. On March 1, the brands unveiled a brand overhaul featuring new visual brand language and assets that create a more personal, inclusive and emotionally resonant relationship with consumers across all channels.

To better meet the changing needs of smokers, Nicorette and NicoDerm also announced the launch of a new design strategy to create a master brand that consolidates products into a portfolio of nicotine replacement therapy solutions. (TRN) in different forms.

As part of this brand revamp, a new Nicorette.com website was launched to serve as a digital ecosystem for smokers, equipped with tools and resources to help them through the different stages of the quitting journey. . Users can access support resources that motivate, prepare and educate about quitting smoking. The theme of progress versus perfection is present in the new website and brand identity. While nearly 68% of the approximately 34.1 million Americans who smoke cigarettes say they want to quit, and more than half say they have tried to quit in the past year, only one smoker out of ten manages to quit every year.1.2

Understanding the tumultuous nature of quitting smoking, the core brand leverages the first letter of brand names, displaying ‘N’ iconography to symbolize the bottom-up and top-down nature of quitting smoking. Simultaneously, sunny and upbeat images and photography convey warmth and encouragement, bringing to life a modern, fresh and bold appearance to revitalize the brand.

Quitting smoking is incredibly difficult and personal, so a one-size-fits-all product is not enough. Research has shown that NRT combined with a cessation support program helps increase smoking cessation success by 70%.3 The launch of this new website is the beginning of creating a digital quit smoking ecosystem that offers a more personalized solution that meets smokers where they are on their quitting journey.
