MedSec Creates New Health Technology Cyber ​​Risk Management Team

MIAMI , July 1, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — MedSec, a leading provider of medical device security, today announced the creation of a new Health Technology Cyber ​​Risk Management (HTCRM) team to expand its biomedical expertise and clinic with a roster of seasoned experts in the field. Phil Englertwho is currently Chief Product Officer of MedSec and himself an expert in HTCRM, will serve as an advisor to the new team.

Phil led the development of medical device security programs, including governance and operations, vulnerability and patch management, incident response, medical device alerts, and SOC integration enabling prioritization of strategic initiatives impactful and effective maintenance and response activities. His experience includes leading the development of strategies and tactics for a $250 million MedTech service organization supporting more than 130 acute care facilities in 22 states.
