Dedicated mental health website launched by NHS Trust

Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust have launched a new website specifically designed to support people with mental health issues.

As well as providing general support and advice, the aim of the new website is to reduce the stigma around mental health that keeps so many people from reaching out and seeking the help they so desperately need.

With this in mind, the website has been designed to act as a centralized hub, storing all relevant information in one place, ultimately helping people get the support they need as quickly as possible. Now We’re Talking will include free online courses, directions to community support and general NHS services provided by Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust.

Gary Morgan, communications manager at Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust, said: “The Now We Talking website has been developed to provide a wealth of information in one place about the range of mental health support and resources available. .

“He also has a huge range of self-help guides that can help people struggling with issues such as stress, anxiety or lack of sleep. People have consistently told us that it can be difficult to know exactly what help is available, and we hope that the Now We’re Talking website will help make navigation easier.

Local residents will also be able to access a new library of downloadable resources, which will feature informative posters highlighting ‘one page’ support – the purpose of said posters is to simplify and clarify what mental health is available, where is it available and how to access it.

As well as this new website, Herefordshire and Worcestershire Health and Care NHS Trust will also continue to operate their 24/7 mental health helpline for anyone who is in a mental health crisis. or seeking advice and support. The helpline can be reached on 01905 681 915.
