Baptist Health opens applications for Knight Foundation Fellowship in Technological Innovation in Healthcare


Baptist Health Innovations is now accepting applications for its inaugural Knight Foundation Fellowship in Healthcare Technological Innovation. The scholarship is a one-year program for entrepreneurs and innovators interested in technology and health development.

Designed to bring together people from diverse professional backgrounds – including administration, engineering, law, and finance – the Multidisciplinary Scholarship is an opportunity to develop Miami’s technological and entrepreneurial talent. A strong commitment to diversity and inclusion will be part of the application process.

Baptist Health continues to grow as a hub of research and innovation. The scholarship offers an important professional development opportunity and incorporates multi-faceted team projects designed to develop innovative skills and networks essential for the development of new products, services and interventions in the health field. The scholarship program is funded by a $ 1 million grant from the Knight Foundation and another $ 1 million in matching funds from community philanthropists raised through the Baptist Health Foundation to support the program for years to to come.
